A recipe for success! (20.11.20)
This week, the children made 'Roman Honey Cakes'. As a class, we measured out the ingredients and then the children placed them into the mixing bowls. Milk was added to the mixtures, then the ingredients were mixed together.
From this mixture of ingredients, the children made a ball each that was then placed onto a baking tray. The mixture went into the oven for 30 minutes and then honey was drizzled on top of their cakes. All cakes were also served with apricots to make the dish more authentically Roman. Well done everybody!
